Third LP of La URSS, a spanish 80’s style punk from Andalusia is out now on Sabotage Records.
Influenced by all bands of that time, from Eskorbuto until Familia Real, Larsen, Último Resorte or KGB. With those influences they’ve created their own style, sound and imagery. The songs on Maravillas Del Mundo (some of them even inspired in flamenco’s gipsy music) and the art and lyrics, wich talk about the daily absurds and social miserys, were inspired by the local social enviroment and the current social political situation. Mid Tempo, 0% Hardcore. Dark and melodic, but not post-punk. Latin but not danceable. Dramatic but not overacted.
